One Nemtek 6mm bolt-type line clamp, sold on its own for a quick wire join or a repair. Electric fence wire clamps do the same job as a ferrule, joining two fence wires or a wire to HT cable, but with a bolt instead of a crimp, so you do not need a crimping tool and the joint can be undone later. The 6mm in the name is the clamp size: Nemtek rates it for fence wire up to 1.6mm. The finish is XL galvanised. If you are fencing a whole boundary, the 50 pack of the same clamp makes more sense than buying singles.

Clamp or ferrule?
A ferrule is crimped and permanent. A bolt-type clamp is tightened with a bolt, so you can loosen it to move, re-tension or replace a wire. Nemtek's 6mm aluminium ferrules are only for aluminium wire, while this clamp is rated for wire up to 1.6mm, which covers Nemtek's 1.2mm galvanised, 1.2mm stainless steel and 1.6mm aluminium fence wire. That makes the clamp the simpler choice when you do not have the matching ferrule for the wire in hand.
Which wires it joins
Nemtek says the clamp joins electric fence cables and wires. Use it on 1.2mm galvanised stranded wire, 1.2mm 304 stainless steel wire and 1.6mm stranded aluminium wire, or to connect a strand to the HT lead-out cable from a Nemtek Merlin Stealth energizer.
XL galvanised, with a stainless option
This clamp is the XL galvanised version, Nemtek code EA-LC6. Nemtek also makes a stainless steel version (EA-LC6/SS) for corrosive sites. Nemtek lists no pack size for the clamp, so this page is for one clamp.
