We courier orders anywhere in South Africa with The Courier Guy, and you can collect for free at our Pretoria branches.

Courier costs

  • Up to 10 kg: R160 anywhere in South Africa.
  • Over 10 kg: priced by weight. You see the exact courier cost at checkout before you pay.
  • Free courier: on orders of R8,000 or more that weigh 10 kg or less. The discount is applied at checkout automatically. Orders over 10 kg pay the normal rate for their weight.

For a very large order, ask us for a quote and we will price the delivery with it.

Collection

Choose collection at checkout and pick Hatfield (648 Jan Shoba Street) or Wonderboom (Braam Pretorius Street). Collection is free. We send you a message when your order is ready, so please wait for it before you come in, and bring your order number.

LP gas

We do not courier LP gas. Our own driver delivers every cylinder size, from 3 kg to 48 kg, in Pretoria from the Alectra branch nearest to you, measured by road: R99 within 5 km, or free within 5 km when the order includes a 48 kg cylinder, and R150 from 5 to 10 km for every size. Further than 10 km, LP gas is collection only, from Hatfield, Wonderboom or Menlyn (31 Selati Street, Ashlea Gardens). Orders placed before 12:00 are delivered the same day and orders placed after 12:00 go out the next business day. There are no deliveries on Sundays or public holidays. The driver brings the full cylinder to where you need it, connects it to your regulator and takes the empty away, at no extra charge. When an order includes a cylinder, the driver delivers everything else in that order with it for the same fee. Orders without a cylinder go by courier or collection.

Tracking

When The Courier Guy collects your parcel, we email you the tracking number so you can follow it to your door.

Delivery times

Delivery times depend on the courier and your location. We do not guarantee delivery dates and are not liable for delays caused by the courier or by circumstances outside our control.

Before you order

  • Check that your delivery address is complete, with the street number, suburb and postal code.
  • Make sure someone is there to receive the parcel, because the courier may ask for a signature.
