This dual lens camera gives you two live screens on your phone at once: a fixed lens on top keeps watching one area while the pan-tilt lens below turns to where you point it. It is the only solar CCTV camera in our range with a stated panel output, a separate 8W solar panel, and it charges an 8000mAh battery. This is the WiFi version. It has PIR human detection with alerts to your phone, colour and IR night vision, two-way audio, recording to microSD or the cloud, and a black housing rated IP65.

Which dual or triple lens camera do you need?
Both dual lens cameras in our range put a fixed lens over a pan-tilt lens and show two live screens. This black model is the one with the stated 8W panel and 8000mAh battery, PIR human detection and an IP65 housing. The white and black dual lens solar WiFi PTZ camera adds radar to its PIR detection, runs on 2.4GHz WiFi with the V380 Pro app and is rated IP66. Two lenses, two live screens
The upper lens is fixed and keeps its view, for example on the gate. The lower lens pans and tilts from your phone, so you can look at another part of the yard without losing the first view. Both show live on your phone at the same time. It is two views, not a full circle: each lens looks one way at a time.
8W solar panel and 8000mAh battery
The 8W panel is separate from the camera and joins it by a cable, so it can be angled at the sun, usually facing north in South Africa. It charges the 8000mAh battery, which runs the camera at night and in poor weather. No standby time is stated, so how long it keeps going through cloudy days depends on the sun the panel gets.
Detection, night vision and recording
PIR human detection picks up body heat and movement and pushes an alert to your phone; a large dog or other warm animal can also set it off. With the white lights on the night picture is in colour, and in IR mode it is black and white. Two-way audio lets you speak through the camera. Recordings go to a microSD card (not included) or to cloud storage; check the app for the cloud plans and what they cost. The IP65 housing handles dust and water jets on an outside wall. Alectra supplies the equipment only: mounting and app setup are done by you or your installer.
