The Sentry 1 channel learning receiver, also called the BTF receiver, works with Sentry 403MHz DIP switch remotes in binary, trinary and French codes. It learns one master code: set every remote to that code and they all open the gate. Change the code any time, and the old one stops working, which is handy when a remote goes missing.
Which remotes work with it?
Sentry 403MHz binary, trinary and French DIP switch remotes, such as the Sentry 1 button binary remote and the 3 button binary remote. Remotes copied onto a Sentry self-learning remote work too.
Wiring and settings
Connect 12 to 24V DC or 12 to 18V AC to POS and NEG. The 1 Amp potential-free relay has COM, NO and NC terminals, and a jumper chooses pulse or latch, so it suits gate motors, garage doors, alarms and electric fences. For magnetic locks, add an extra relay or relay board. Alectra Solutions supplies the receiver only.
How to tell it apart
Look for the yellow, red and black dot sticker on the carton and relay. The label shows firmware V3.3 and 403. Our quick guides in the photos cover connecting, adding remotes and fitting.
Key features
- Learns DIP switch remotes. Works with Sentry 403MHz binary, trinary and French remotes.
- One master code. Learn one code, then set every remote to match it and they all open the gate.
- Change the code anytime. Program a new code and the old one stops working, handy when a remote goes missing.
- 403.55MHz. Look for the yellow, red and black dot sticker on the box and relay.
- 1 Amp relay, pulse or latch. Potential-free COM, NO and NC, with a jumper to choose pulse or latch.
- Flexible power input. Runs on 12 to 24V DC or 12 to 18V AC.
