The Gemini Slider 24V Complex is a 24V gate motor for sliding gates up to 800kg at complexes and light industrial sites, rated for 400 openings a day. This kit includes the motor, two 12V 8Ah batteries wired in series for 24V, two Gemini 3-button remotes and a Gemlink Smart device for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth control from your phone. Rack is not included. For a home gate up to 500kg, the Gemini 12V 12Ah kit or the Gemini 12V 7Ah kit is the lighter option.
Built for complex and light industrial gates
Gemini aims the 24V Complex at gates that work hard: sliding gates up to 800kg, rated for 400 openings a day, moving at 23 m/min. That suits a complex entrance or a light industrial yard where the gate is in use all day. For a family home, the 12V Gemini sliders are the better fit.
How the 24V battery system works
Two 12V 8Ah batteries are wired in series to give 24V, and they drive the motor. Mains power keeps them charged, so the gate keeps working through a power cut for as long as the batteries have charge. Gemini lists the 24V Complex as solar compatible and lithium battery compatible.
Gemlink Smart included
The Gemlink Smart device plugs into the motor's comms port and connects over Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. In the app you can see live gate status, the battery voltage, and who opened the gate and when. The app is free for up to 30 users, with paid plans above that, which suits a complex where many residents need access.
What you still need
Rack and rack stoppers are not in this box. Steel or nylon rack can be used, such as the Gemini 2m steel rack. Add Gemini infrared wireless beams across the entrance, and extra Gemini 3-button remotes for residents. Gemini gives 24 months on mechanical parts and 12 months on electrical parts, and batteries are not covered. The Gemini spec sheet is linked on this page. Alectra Solutions supplies the equipment only, so have the motor fitted by your own gate installer.
