A pack of 100 Nemtek black cable ties, 200mm long and 4.8mm wide: the longer, wider tie for bundling HT cable and wiring on an electric fence or gate motor job. Where the small 100mm tie holds one cable, cable ties 200mm long go round a bundle of several cables, a thicker HT cable or a bracket stem. If you only need to tidy single runs of slimline cable and light wiring, the 100mm x 2.5mm ties are the smaller size.
What's in the pack
- 100 Nemtek black cable ties, 200mm x 4.8mm
200mm or 100mm?
The 200mm x 4.8mm tie is twice the length and nearly twice the width of the 100mm tie, so it suits bundles: the HT lead-out and earth lead run together from a Nemtek Merlin Stealth M18S or M28S energizer, several low voltage wires to a siren and strobe, or a thicker HT cable strapped to a bracket. The 100mm tie is for single cables and small bundles.
What they are for on a fence job
Cable ties neaten the insulated cables on an installation. The live fence wires run on insulators on the brackets, not on cable ties.
What we do not claim
Nemtek does not publish the material, UV rating or tensile strength of these ties, so we leave those figures out. The size, colour, brand and count are what you are buying.
