The Gemini 1 button is the Gemini remote for one gate or one garage door: a single yellow button that runs one motor. It is Gemini's own code-hopping remote in a tough keyring case that weighs 27g, and it works on the onboard code-hopping receiver in current Gemini sliders and garage motors, which holds up to 30 remotes. Want the gate and the garage on one remote? The Gemini 3 button runs three devices.
Which Gemini motors this Gemini remote works with
Only Gemini code-hopping remotes work on the onboard receiver of current Gemini sliders and garage motors, such as the Gemini Slider 12V 7Ah, the Gemini Slider 12V 12Ah and the Gemini sectional garage door motor kit. Older Gemini motors use an external receiver, and the remote has to match that receiver. A Binary 403, for example, needs Gemini's binary remote, not this one.
Pairing it with your motor
To pair it, hold down the remote button you want to use, press the learn button on the motor's PCB, and the LED flashes twice. The receiver holds up to 30 remotes. Full steps are in the Gemini 12V DC slider manual under Documents. You or your installer do the pairing; Alectra Solutions supplies the remote only.
Size and build
The remote measures 70 x 35 x 15mm and weighs 27g, so it sits easily on a keyring. The photo shows a black case with one yellow button and a small amber light near the top.
