The Gemini 3 button is the Gemini gate remote that comes in the box with Gemini slider kits: three buttons, so one remote runs the gate, the garage door and a third device. Gemini packs two of these with its 12V and 24V slider kits, which makes this the matching spare or extra remote for those kits. It uses Gemini code-hopping and weighs 27g. For a single gate, the Gemini 1 button does the job.
The spare remote for Gemini slider kits
If you have a Gemini slider kit, this is the same remote that came in the box, so a new one matches what you already use. Each button is learned into its own motor or channel: gate on one, garage door on another and a third device on the last.
Which Gemini motors it works with
It works on the onboard code-hopping receiver in current Gemini sliders and garage motors, or on a Gemini Receiver 30. That covers the Gemini Slider 12V 7Ah, the Gemini Slider 12V 12Ah, the Gemini sectional garage door motor kit and the Gemini roll-up garage door motor kit. It does not cover every Gemini motor ever made, so check older motors first.
Pairing it with your motor
To pair it, hold down the remote button you want to use, press the learn button on the motor's PCB, and the LED flashes twice. The receiver holds up to 30 remotes. Full steps are in the Gemini 12V DC slider manual under Documents. You or your installer do the pairing; Alectra Solutions supplies the remote only. The remote measures 70 x 35 x 15mm. The photo shows a black case with grey, yellow and dark grey buttons and a small amber light near the top.
