The Sentry 1 button code hopping remote is a single-button gate remote for one gate, garage door or receiver channel. It sends KeeLoq code hopping on 433.92MHz, so the code changes every time you press it and cannot be copied and replayed. It pairs with Sentry 433MHz code hopping receivers, the ones with the blue dot sticker, and reaches about 40m.
Which Sentry receivers does it work with?
Check the sticker on your receiver. A blue dot means 433MHz, which is this remote. A blue and black dot means 403MHz, which needs the Sentry 1 button code hopping remote 403MHz instead. On our site this remote works with the Sentry 1 channel code hopping receiver 433MHz and the Sentry 1000 user receiver for complexes. The receiver built into the Sentry A6 Max gate motor also takes Sentry 433MHz code hopping remotes.
Learning it into your receiver
Every remote has its own serial number. It is learned into the receiver with the receiver's learn button, by you or your installer, and it cannot be copied from another remote. Sentry's how-to videos are on the Martin Electronics website (martin-electronics.co.za). Alectra Solutions supplies the remote only.
Range, battery and warranty
Sentry gives the range as about 40m. The remote runs on one 12V A23 battery, measures 65 x 32 x 14mm and weighs 30g. It is ICASA type approved (TA-2004/741) and CE marked, and carries Sentry's 24 month carry-in warranty, batteries excluded. In the photos it has a blue case with one yellow button and a key ring slot.
