The ET Nice Drive 600 is the high traffic motor in the ET Drive range, for sliding gates up to 500kg that open all day: complexes, estates, offices and busy driveways. An ACDC power pack inside the motor runs it from 220V mains at a 98% duty cycle, and the 12V battery is there for power cuts. This kit is the motor with its base plate, 4m of nylon rack and a 12V 7Ah battery. For a quieter home gate see the Drive 500, and for gates over 500kg this ET Nice gate motor's big brother, the Drive 1000.
What's in the box
- ET Nice Drive 600 motor with base plate and built-in ACDC power pack
- 2 x 2m nylon racks (4m)
- 1 x 12V 7Ah battery
Power pack with battery backup
The Drive 600 is hard-wired to 220V through an all-pole isolator within 1.5m of the motor, by a registered electrician. On mains the power pack drives the motor directly, so the battery is not worn down by normal use. When the power goes off the Drive 600 switches to the battery, for about 100 openings in the first 24 hours on a 5m gate. When the battery is old, swap in a standard 12V 7Ah gate motor battery such as our G-MAX7 12V 7.2Ah sealed lead acid battery. Alectra Solutions supplies the equipment only.
Drive 600 or Drive 500: which ET Nice gate motor?
Both are rated for 500kg gates. The Drive 500 is the low traffic model (25% duty cycle) for most homes. The Drive 600 is the one to choose when the gate opens many times an hour. For industrial gates up to 1,000kg see the Drive 1000, and for light gates the Drive 300.
Make it smart
Want to open the gate from your phone? Add the Gemini Gemlink Lite. Gemini says it works with almost any gate motor, old or new, and it gives you Bluetooth control at the gate and WiFi control from anywhere.
Built with security in mind
The ET Blu Mix rolling code receiver stores up to 1,023 remotes and still works with older ET Blue remotes. Programming can be locked with a PIN code, and the controller monitors the gate and safety beams for tampering. Holiday lock-out, party mode and positive close are built in. ET Nice gives a 12 month warranty on the motor and 6 months on the battery, with brushes excluded.
Key features
- Built for high traffic. The ACDC power pack runs the motor from the mains at a 98% duty cycle, so it copes with gates that open all day.
- True battery backup. The 12V 7Ah battery is only used when the power is off, for about 100 openings in the first 24 hours of a power cut.
- Hard-wired 220V supply. The power pack is inside the motor, so there is no separate transformer. A registered electrician wires the 220V through an all-pole isolator within 1.5m.
- Up to 30 m/min. A DC motor with removable brushes for easy maintenance.
- Backlit display. Large backlit display for programming, diagnostics and fault reporting.
- ET Blu Mix receiver. Rolling code on 433.92MHz with memory for 1,023 remotes, and it still takes ET Blue remotes.
- Collision detection. Electronic gate profiling stops the gate when it meets an obstruction.
- Security built in. Monitors the gate and the safety beams for tampering, PIN-lockable programming and a lockable manual release.
- Useful modes. Auto-close, holiday lock-out, party mode and positive close.
