The Gemini Gemlink Lite turns the gate or garage door motor you already have into a smart one, whatever the brand. Open and close it from your phone over Bluetooth when you are close by, or over WiFi when you are away from home, all in the free Gemlink app. That is what sets the Lite apart from the Gemlink, which only plugs into Gemini's V 90 SEL board: the Lite works with sliding gates, swing gates and garage doors, old or new.

What the Gemlink Lite does

  • Bluetooth control nearby: open the gate from your phone as you pull up, no remote needed.
  • WiFi control when you are out: let in a visitor or a delivery from wherever you are, as long as the unit is connected to your home WiFi.
  • Push notifications: alerts come straight to your phone through the Gemlink app.
  • Online status, users and logs: the app shows whether the unit is online, with menus for users and activity logs.
  • Access for the whole household: Free Gemlink app for up to 30 users, with optional paid plans from Gemini if you need more.
  • Works with most motors: Gemini says the Lite works with almost all gate and garage door automation, including sliding gates, swing gates and garage doors, old or new. It also works on the Sentry A6 Max sliding gate motor.
  • ICASA approved: TA-2021/2835, printed on the box.

Gemlink Lite or Gemlink?

The Gemini Gemlink Smart Device is made for Gemini motors with the V 90 SEL board and plugs straight into the board. On those motors it also shows gate status, battery voltage and more in the app. For other motors, including other brands and garage doors, the Gemlink Lite is the one to choose.

Before you buy

You need a strong WiFi signal where the unit is fitted. Gemini asks for 4 to 5 bars at the motor, so if your router is far from the gate, plan for a WiFi extender.
