The Sentry 3 button self-learning remote copies up to three of your existing Sentry 403MHz remotes onto one handset. Each button learns its own code, so one remote can replace the gate remote, the garage remote and a third one. There are no DIP switches to set: hold the remotes close, follow the button sequence, and the code copies across in seconds. For one button, see the Sentry 1 button self-learning remote.
Which remotes can it copy?
It learns Sentry's older unencrypted 403MHz codes: binary, trinary and SMART, including the Sentry 1 button and 3 button binary remotes. It does not copy code hopping remotes. For those, see the Sentry dual frequency learning remote.
How the copy works
Hold your old remote close to the Sentry, use the button sequence in the leaflet in the box, and the LED flashes once each new code is stored. Repeat for the other buttons. Alectra Solutions supplies the remote only.
Range, battery and warranty
Sentry gives the range as about 40m. It runs on one 12V A23 battery and carries Sentry's 24 month carry-in warranty, batteries excluded. In the photos it has a grey case with white, blue and pink buttons.
