The ET Nice DC Blue Advanced Roll-Up is ET's domestic roll-up door operator: a roll up garage door motor for home roll-up doors up to 8 m². Unlike the drawbar-driven DC Blue Advanced motors for sectional and tip-up doors, this kit is made for roll-up doors, with the operator, a separate control box with battery backup, an LED courtesy light and the ET Blu Mix receiver. Is your door under 8 m²?
ET makes this operator for home roll-up doors up to 8 m². Multiply the door's width by its height: a single door 2.5m wide and 2.1m high is about 5.3 m². Alectra Solutions also sells single steel roll-up garage doors; check the size of the door against the 8 m² rating.
Control box, battery backup and light
The operator and the control box are separate units, and the control box has battery backup for power cuts. The kit also has an LED courtesy light, the ET Blu Mix receiver and an input for safety beams.
Remotes and safety beams
The receiver works with ET Blu Mix remotes such as the 4-button remote or the 1-button remote. Safety beams are not included, but there is an input for them.
Fitting
Fitting an operator to a roll-up door is work for an experienced garage door installer, as roll-up doors are balanced by springs under high tension. Alectra Solutions supplies the equipment only.
