This is the 1 button ET Blu Mix remote from ET Nice: one red button for one gate motor or one garage door. If you only ever open one thing, it is the simplest ET remote to carry. It sends ET Nice's enhanced rolling code on 433.92MHz and can be switched to the older ET Blue format when your receiver needs it. Need the gate and the garage on one remote? ET Blu Mix or ET Blue?

The remote sends ET Blu Mix, which is ET Nice's enhanced rolling code. If your receiver works on the older ET Blue format, hold the button down for about 20 seconds to switch the remote over. The LED tells you which format it is on: a shimmering LED means Mix, a steady LED means Blue. Receivers with a white and orange antenna take both formats.

Pairing the remote to your motor

A new ET Blu Mix has to be learned (paired) into the receiver before it opens anything. You or your installer do this with the motor or receiver manual, and ET Nice's guide to the ET Blu Mix is in the documents on this page. Alectra Solutions supplies the remote only.

Will the ET Blu Mix remote work on my ET Drive gate motor?

Yes. ET Nice lists the ET Drive 300 to 1000 as compatible, along with the DC Blue range, ET Roll Up and ET RX-RC receivers. The remote must be learned into the motor's receiver first.

What is the difference between ET Blu Mix and ET Blue?

ET Blu Mix is ET Nice's enhanced rolling code. ET Blue is the older format. This remote sends Mix and can be switched to Blue by holding the button down for about 20 seconds.

How do I see which format the remote is on?

Receivers with a white and orange antenna take both ET Blu Mix and ET Blue, so either format works.

Can one button open my gate and my garage door?

This remote has one button, so it is meant for one gate or door. To run the gate and the garage separately, the ET Blu Mix 2 button remote gives each its own button. The 4 button runs up to four.
