This is the ET Nice intercom gate station on its own: the outdoor unit with the camera and call button that goes at your gate. It is the ET Nice colour video gate station in die-cast aluminium, silver, with a slim body, a high definition colour camera with a wide angle lens and LED night light compensation down to 0.1 lux. It connects on 4 wires to the ET Nice 7 inch colour monitor, which is sold separately. Starting from nothing? The ET Nice 7 inch kit has this gate station, the monitor and a power supply in one box.
What's in the box
- 1 x ET Nice colour video gate station, 4-wire, die-cast aluminium, silver
ET Nice lists no other contents. The monitor, the cable from the gate to the house, an electric lock and the optional stainless steel rain shield are not included.
Which ET Nice intercom part do you need?
Take this gate station to add a second entrance to an ET Nice 7 inch system, or to build a system with the 7 inch monitor bought on its own. ET Nice systems are expandable with extra ET Nice gate stations and monitors. For a new system with one gate, the kit is simpler, because the monitor, this die-cast gate station and a power supply come together. ET Nice also makes a brushed aluminium gate station with a backlit name tag and call button; that one is not this listing.
Camera and LED night light
The high definition colour camera has a wide angle lens to take in the visitor standing at the gate, and you see and talk to them from the monitor inside. After dark, LED night light compensation helps the camera down to 0.1 lux, which is very low light. ET Nice does not publish a resolution or a viewing angle for this camera, so we do not quote one.
Fitting it at the gate
The die-cast aluminium housing is made for outdoor use at the gate, but ET Nice does not state an IP rating. For extra cover from the rain, ET Nice offers a stainless steel rain shield as an option; it is not in the box. The gate station connects to the monitor on 4 wires, and ET Nice does not give a maximum cable length, so check the distance from the gate to the house with your installer. The intercom is installed by your installer, and Alectra supplies the equipment only.
