The ET Nice video intercom kit is the full set for one gate in one box: the white 7 inch colour monitor for inside the house, the die-cast aluminium gate station for the gate, and a power supply. When a visitor presses the call button, you see them on the 7 inch colour screen and talk to them before you go out. Only the cable between the gate and the house is extra. If you already have part of a system, the monitor and the gate station are also sold on their own.
What's in the box
- 1 x ET Nice 7 inch colour video intercom monitor (TFT LCD, 12V DC 1A)
- 1 x ET Nice colour video gate station, 4-wire, die-cast aluminium, silver
- 1 x power supply
Cable is not included. Nor is an electric lock, or the stainless steel rain shield that ET Nice offers as an option for the gate station.
The monitor
The indoor monitor has a 7 inch colour TFT LCD screen in a white housing and is rated at 12V DC, 1A. This is where the call comes in: you see who is at the gate and talk to them from inside. ET Nice does not publish a screen resolution, so we do not quote one.
The gate station
The gate station is the slim die-cast aluminium model in silver, with one call button and a high definition colour camera with a wide angle lens. LED night light compensation helps the camera after dark, down to 0.1 lux. The housing is made for outdoor use, but ET Nice does not state an IP rating; a stainless steel rain shield is available from ET Nice as an option. ET Nice also makes this kit with a brushed aluminium gate station, which is not this listing.
Wiring and adding more later
The gate station connects to the monitor on 4 wires, so you need 4-core cable for the run from the gate to the house. ET Nice does not give a maximum cable length, so measure the run and plan it with your installer. Later on, the system is expandable with extra ET Nice gate stations and monitors, for example a second monitor in a bedroom or a second gate station at a pedestrian gate. The kit is installed by your installer; Alectra supplies the equipment only.
