The Sentry 1 button code hopping remote 403MHz is the single-button Sentry remote for 403MHz code hopping receivers. It sends KeeLoq code hopping on 403.55MHz, so the code changes with every press and cannot be copied and replayed. One button runs one gate, garage door or receiver channel, and it reaches about 40m. Need three buttons? See the Sentry 3 button code hopping remote 403MHz.
Is your receiver 403MHz or 433MHz?
Sentry marks its code hopping receivers with a sticker. A blue and black dot means 403MHz, which is this remote. A blue dot on its own means 433MHz, which needs the Sentry 1 button code hopping remote 433MHz. On our site this remote works with the Sentry 1 channel code hopping receiver 403MHz and the Sentry 3 channel code hopping receiver 403MHz.
Learning it into your receiver
Each remote has its own serial number and is learned into the receiver with the receiver's learn button, by you or your installer. A red LED flashes on every press so you know the signal was sent. Alectra Solutions supplies the remote only.
Battery and warranty
The remote runs on one 12V A23 battery and carries Sentry's 24 month carry-in warranty, batteries excluded. In the photos it has a black case with one grey button and a key ring slot.
