The Sentry 3 channel code hopping receiver runs three things from one receiver: a gate, a pedestrian gate and a garage door, for example. It has three separate 1 Amp relays, each with its own COM, NO and NC terminals, and stores up to 75 remote buttons. It works on 403.55MHz with Sentry code hopping remotes marked with the blue and black dot sticker. For one output, see the Sentry 1 channel code hopping receiver 403MHz.
Which remotes work with it?
Sentry 403MHz code hopping remotes, such as the Sentry 3 button code hopping remote 403MHz and the 1 button. You can put several buttons on one channel, or set one button to fire all three channels at once. A lost remote can be deleted on its own without re-coding the rest.
Wiring and settings
Power goes to POS and NEG: 12 to 24V DC or 12 to 18V AC. Each relay has its own pulse or latch jumper, and the pulse time can be set to 1.25 or 4 seconds. In latch mode the relays can remember their state after a power loss. For magnetic locks, add an extra relay or relay board. Alectra Solutions supplies the receiver only.
Identification and manual
The label shows firmware V7.0.3 and 403, and the blue and black dots are on the carton and relays. The Sentry manual is in the documents on this page, and our quick guides are in the photos.
