It fits all Gemini 12V SEL sliding gate motors with the red release lever, made from 2006 on. V90 is the version of the board, not a motor model. Want phone control as well? Which Gemini motors the V90 board fits

Gemini lists this board for its 12V SEL sliders with the red release lever, from 2006 on. Before you order, check two things on your motor: that the release lever is red, and that the motor is 12V. Gemini makes a separate 24V V90 board (part L90452) for 24V motors, and this listing is not that board. Gemini's GEMLINK upgrade, which is built around the same V90 board, is not for its AC sliders, swing gate motors or garage door motors. If you are unsure, send us a photo of the motor and of the label on the old board.

What is on the board

The V90 has an on-board receiver that holds up to 30 remotes, a socket for a separate receiver and an accessory connector. It also makes the motor GEMLINK ready, so you can add Gemini's app control later without changing the board again. The board weighs 0.185kg and measures about 11.5 x 18 x 4cm.

Motor runs but the gate does not move?

That is not always the board. Gemini's own advice is that when the motor runs but the gate stays put, the couplings or gears may be worn or stripped. The Gemini hex coupling for DC sliders is a separate spare. The PCB shaft encoder, the small pickup board that reads the motor shaft rotation, is also sold on its own. Will this Gemini PCB board fit my motor?

It fits Gemini 12V SEL sliding gate motors with the red release lever, made from 2006 on. Check the lever colour and that the motor is 12V. If you are unsure, send us a photo of the motor and of the label on the old board.

Is V90 the name of my motor?

No. V90 is the version of the control board, not a motor model.

Will it work in a 24V Gemini motor?

No. This is the 12V board. Gemini makes a separate 24V V90 board, part L90452.

How many remotes can the board learn?

The on-board receiver holds up to 30 remotes.

Can I add app control later?

Yes. The V90 board makes the motor GEMLINK ready, so you only add the GEMLINK smart device. If you need a new board and app control now, the Smart GEMLINK Upgrade Kit has both.

My motor runs but the gate does not move. Do I need a new board?

Not necessarily. Gemini says the couplings or gears may be worn or stripped when the motor runs but the gate does not move, so have those checked first.
