This is a one-piece 24V 3.4Ah AGM sealed lead acid battery: a single 24V block, not two 12V batteries wired together. It is for 24V backup, such as a 24V garage door motor battery where the motor takes one 24V block. Check the voltage, capacity, size and plug against the battery you are replacing before you order. It is not the battery for Centurion Systems D10 or D10 SMART gate motors, which run on two 12V 7Ah batteries.
Is it the right 24V garage door motor battery for you?
It is meant for 24V garage door motors that take one 24V block of about 3.4Ah. Fit varies between models, so send us the make and model of your motor, or a photo of the old battery and its plug, and we will check it before you order.
Some 24V garage door motors run on two 12V batteries instead of one 24V block. Gemini's 24V garage door motors, for example, take two 12V 2.4Ah batteries; for those, order two ProSec 12V 2.3Ah batteries.
Not for these gate motors
- Centurion Systems D10 and D10 SMART: two 12V 7Ah batteries, not one 24V block.
- Centurion Systems A10: the manual lists a 12V 7Ah battery.
Charging
The label gives a cycle charge of 29.0 to 29.8V and a standby charge of 27.2 to 27.6V. The 1.05A on the label is the maximum initial charge current, the limit for the charger, not what the battery delivers. It is sealed AGM, so there is nothing to top up. Alectra Solutions supplies the equipment only.
