This sliding gate brush pair keeps your gate track clear. Each brush sits on a stainless steel bracket that fixes to the gate frame, and its tough, industrial-grade bristles reach down onto the track. Every time the gate opens or closes, the brushes sweep dirt, sand and leaves off the rail, so the wheels roll on a clean track.
Why fit a gate track brush?
Sand, stones and leaves on the track make the wheels bump and drag. A clear track reduces strain on the gate motor and its gears. The brushes clean the track only, not the driveway around it.

How to fit the brushes
Close the gate and position each brush 100mm from the outside of a wheel, as the pack shows. Use the slots in the mounting plates to set the height so the bristles touch both sides of the track. Check that the brushes do not touch the end stops when the gate is fully open or closed, then fix the brackets to the gate frame with pop rivets or tek screws (not included).

It suits most sliding gates that run on a ground track, new or existing. Each bracket measures 80 x 40 x 80mm and each brush 110 x 35 x 100mm, so check there is room on the frame next to each wheel.
