This is the ET Nice DC Blue Advanced garage door motor on its own: the head unit only, with no drawbar (rail). It fits ET's 2.2m drawbar for trackless tip-up doors and the 3.2m drawbar for sectional doors, so it suits a replacement head on an ET drawbar or a new setup where the drawbar comes separately. One garage door motor for sectional and tip-up doors
ET uses the same DC Blue Advanced head for both door types. The drawbar is what changes: 2.2m for a trackless tip-up door, 3.2m for a sectional door. ET rates the motor for single-width sectional or trackless tip-up doors under 10 m². To work out your door's area, multiply its width by its height: a door 2.5m wide and 2.1m high is about 5.3 m².
How it drives the door
The head has a 24V DC motor with 100W peak power and a chain drive, and it moves the door at 8 m/min. ET rates it for 50 cycles per 24 hours. For anti-crush protection ET uses electronic digital profiling of the door. ET does not publish a force figure for this motor; it rates it by door size.
Receiver
The motor's ET Blu Mix receiver works on 433.92MHz and learns up to 35 remotes, such as the ET Blu Mix 4-button remote or the 2-button remote for the gate and the garage.
