The Sentry 3 button code hopping remote gives you three separate buttons on 403.55MHz: one for the gate, one for the garage and one for a pedestrian gate, light or second door. It sends KeeLoq code hopping, so the code changes with every press and cannot be copied and replayed, and it reaches about 40m. For a single button, see the Sentry 1 button code hopping remote 403MHz.
Three buttons, three jobs
Each button is learned on its own, so each one can run its own gate, garage door or receiver channel. Paired with the Sentry 3 channel code hopping receiver 403MHz, one remote can open the gate, the pedestrian gate and the garage from a single receiver. It also works with the Sentry 1 channel code hopping receiver 403MHz.
Is your receiver 403MHz?
Look for the blue and black dot sticker on your Sentry code hopping receiver. That means 403MHz, which is this remote. A blue dot on its own means 433MHz.
Pairing, battery and warranty
Each remote has its own serial number and is learned into the receiver with the receiver's learn button, by you or your installer. A red LED flashes on every press. The remote runs on one 12V A23 battery and carries Sentry's 24 month carry-in warranty, batteries excluded. In the photos it has a black case with red, grey and blue buttons. Alectra Solutions supplies the remote only.
