The Sentry Nova Compatible 3 button is the Sentry remote for three devices: each of its three buttons runs its own gate, device or receiver channel. Made by Martin Electronics under the Sentry name, it sends Nova code on 433.925MHz, reaches about 40m and runs on one 12V A23 battery. Sentry says it learns and functions as the standard Nova remotes do. For a single device there is the Sentry 1 button, and for four the Sentry 4 button.
Three buttons, three devices
Each button is learned into its own device or receiver channel, so one remote can run, for example, the driveway gate on the blue button and two more devices on the white and green ones. The photo shows a grey case with the three buttons in a row and a keyring slot at the base.
Sentry remote or Centurion Systems Nova?
This is not a Centurion Systems Nova remote. It is Sentry's own Nova compatible remote, made by Martin Electronics. Sentry's wording is that it learns and functions as the standard Nova remotes do, and that is the only compatibility claim we make for it. If you are not sure your receiver takes standard Nova remotes, check its manual or ask us before you buy.
Learning it in, range and warranty
The remote is learned into the receiver at close range, so stand near the receiver while you or your installer do it. Sentry has no PDF manual for it; the how-to videos are on the Martin Electronics website (martin-electronics.co.za). Alectra Solutions supplies the remote only. Sentry gives the range as about 40m. The remote runs on one 12V A23 battery and carries a 24 month Sentry warranty, carry-in, with batteries excluded.
