The Garador Elev8tor is a garage door motor kit for sectional and tilting (tip-up) doors, sold as a full kit: the motor head, the rail and 2 x 4-channel remotes come together. It suits doors from 2400mm to 3500mm high, moves the door at 160 mm per second and has a 24V LED light and a 433.92MHz rolling code receiver. Garador backs it with a 24 month guarantee.

Which Elev8tor model, drive and rail?

Garador builds the Elev8tor in three strengths: the FS 600 (600N, doors up to 10 m² and 80kg), the FS 1000 (1000N, up to 15 m² and 100kg) and the FS 1200 (1200N, up to 18 m² and 130kg). It comes with a chain or a belt drive, on a steel C-rail or an aluminium rail. Give the branch your door size and weight, and they will tell you which model and rail the kit has.

Soft start, soft stop and a balanced door

The motor starts and stops softly on every run. It is rated IP20, so it belongs inside the garage, out of the weather. The door must be balanced before the Elev8tor goes on: it should open and close easily by hand. Springs and cables are under high tension, so spring or cable work should be done by an experienced garage door installer.

Spare parts for the Elev8tor

If the traveller in the rail ever needs replacing, the Elev8tor traveller (trolley) is sold on its own. Alectra Solutions supplies the equipment only, so have the kit fitted by a garage door installer.
