Get a formal quoteThe Centurion Systems G-Speak Ultra 4G GSM intercom turns your cellphone into the intercom handset, and this listing is the complete kit: the G-Speak Ultra 4G control module plus the plastic 2-button gate station, with the SIM from Centurion Systems. A visitor presses a button at the gate, your phone rings, and you talk to them and open the gate from the MyCentsys Remote app or your phone's keypad, wherever you are. It uses 4G whenever it can, with 2G only as a fallback. Need the module on its own, or a metal gate station? See the G-Speak Ultra 4G control module and the metal 4-button gate station.
What's in the box
- 1 x G-Speak Ultra 4G control module (main unit with fascia and mounting plate)
- 1 x plastic 2-button gate station (IP52)
- 1 x SIM from Centurion Systems, for use in this unit only
Screws and wall anchors for the module, the cable between the module and the gate station, and a power supply are not part of the kit. The module runs off the gate motor's DC supply.
How the G-Speak Ultra 4G works
The control module is wired to the gate motor controller and to the gate station, which connects on terminals P1 to P6. When a visitor presses a call button, the module phones the numbers set for that button. Each button can ring up to two numbers, a primary and a secondary, on a cellphone or a landline. You speak to the visitor through the gate station and open the gate with a tap in the MyCentsys Remote app, or by pressing a key on your phone during the call. Up to 1500 phone numbers can be given access, and only numbers registered on the system can use it, so there are no keys or remotes to hand out to service providers.
Gate status alerts and four channels
The module has four channels, each set as an input or an output. Wired to a Centurion Systems gate motor, it can tell you when the gate opens or closes, is left standing open, when the mains fails and when the battery is low, with push notifications in the MyCentsys Remote app. The same channels can switch or watch other things, such as outside lights, an alarm or a pool pump; Centurion Systems notes that some uses need extra relays. Weekly and visitor time windows limit when people can get in, and each call button can be time-barred, for example so the main button does not ring at night while the second one still does.
Which G-Speak Ultra option do you need?
Take this kit when two call buttons are enough, for example a house and a cottage. For up to four homes or units, such as a duet or a small complex, combine the control module with the aluminium G-Speak Ultra metal gate station, 4 button, which is rated IP54. If you only want to open and monitor the gate from your phone, with no intercom, the Centurion Systems G-ULTRA does that and adds two relays.
Power, mounting and setup
The module runs on 11 to 24V DC and is powered from the 12V or 24V gate motor controller. Centurion Systems' Quick Guide has wiring diagrams for its D-Series and V-Series controllers, SMART and older, and for alarm panels, electric fence energizers and striker locks. The module itself is rated IP40, so it goes inside the gate motor housing or a dry enclosure, away from the DOSS sensor and the remote receiver. Only the gate station stands outside. The antenna is internal, with an SMA connector for an external antenna on sites that need one. Your installer sets the system up on G-WEB, Centurion Systems' online portal and app, where users, time windows and airtime are managed. Alectra supplies the equipment only.
Key features
- Your cellphone is the handset. Calls from the gate station ring your cellphone or landline, so you can answer visitors from home, work or anywhere else.
- Open from the app or the keypad. Open the gate with a tap in the MyCentsys Remote app, or press a key on your phone during the call.
- 4G with 2G fallback. Centurion Systems' current Quick Guide says the unit uses 4G whenever possible and 2G only as a fallback.
- SIM included. Centurion Systems supplies the SIM with the unit. It works in this G-Speak Ultra only.
- Two numbers per button. Each of the two call buttons rings a primary and a secondary number, and each button can be time-barred on its own.
- Gate status alerts. Push notifications when the gate is left open, the mains fails or the battery is low, read from the Centurion Systems motor's status output.
- Four inputs or outputs. Monitor or switch up to four devices, such as an alarm, lights or a pool pump; some need extra relays.
- Visitor and weekly time windows. Give a guest access between two dates, or staff access on set days and times, from G-WEB.
- LCD screen. The module's screen shows signal strength, supply voltage, airtime and gate status for quick fault-finding.

Yes, the plastic gate station is rated IP52 for the gate. The control module is rated IP40, so it must go inside the gate motor housing or another dry enclosure, not out in the weather.
Centurion Systems' Quick Guide has wiring diagrams for its 24V and 12V D-Series and V-Series controllers, SMART and older. It runs on 11 to 24V DC from the motor controller.
The plastic gate station has two buttons. For more, use the G-Speak Ultra 4G control module with a metal gate station, which Centurion Systems makes with 1, 2 or 4 buttons; we list the 4-button one.
Centurion Systems warrants it for 24 months from delivery on a carry-in basis: the unit goes back to a Centurion Systems branch or the reseller it was bought from for assessment and, if needed, repair.
