Terms & Conditions

1. General

By placing an order with Alectra Solutions ("we", "us", "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. These terms apply to all purchases made through our website at alectra.co.za, by phone, or in store.

2. Pricing and Payment

All prices displayed on our website are in South African Rand (ZAR) and are inclusive of VAT at the current applicable rate. We reserve the right to update prices at any time without prior notice.

Payment is required in full at the time of order. We accept payment via Yoco and Paystack (Visa, Mastercard). Orders are only confirmed once payment has been successfully processed.

3. Order Cancellations

You may request to cancel an order at any time before it has been dispatched by contacting us at solutionsalectra@gmail.com or calling 012 566 3123.

Cancellations made before an order has been dispatched are subject to a 4% processing fee. This fee covers non-recoverable payment gateway and transaction costs charged to us by our payment providers at the time of the original transaction, even if the goods were never shipped.

Example: If you paid R1,000 and cancel before dispatch, your refund will be R960 (R1,000 − 4% = R960).

4. Returns and Refunds

We accept returns of unused products in original packaging within 30 days of purchase. Please refer to our Returns Policy for full eligibility criteria and how to initiate a return.

A flat 15% handling fee applies to all approved returns of dispatched orders. This is deducted from your original purchase amount before the refund is issued. The refund covers the remaining 85% of what you paid.

The 15% handling fee applies to:

  • Orders cancelled after they have been dispatched
  • Returns of unwanted products within the 30-day return window

The handling fee does not apply to returns of products that are defective on arrival or were incorrectly supplied by us. In those cases a full refund or replacement will be arranged at no cost to you.

5. Shipping and Delivery

We ship nationwide via The Courier Guy. Delivery times are estimated at 2–5 business days after dispatch. We do not guarantee delivery dates and are not liable for delays caused by the courier or circumstances outside our control.

6. Product Availability

All orders are subject to product availability. In the unlikely event that an item you have ordered is out of stock after your order has been placed, we will contact you promptly and offer a full refund (without the handling fee) or an alternative product.

7. Warranty

Products sold by Alectra Solutions are covered by the manufacturer's warranty. Warranty terms and periods vary by brand and product. We will assist in facilitating warranty claims but are not responsible for the outcome of manufacturer decisions. Warranty does not cover damage caused by improper installation, misuse, or unauthorised modification.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, Alectra Solutions shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the purchase or use of our products. Our total liability in connection with any order shall not exceed the amount paid for that order.

9. Privacy

Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By placing an order you consent to us processing your data as described therein.

10. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of our website shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
